Preparation:
• Image Preparation: The size of the thumbnail images had been pre-set for you and the system will automatically generate the thumbnail images from large sized images. The only size of the images that you have to prepare are large size images, the size that you wish to show visitors of your web site. Prepare images in JPG format. It is suggested not to make them over 600 pixel width and 400 pixel height.
• Make sure the images are saved at the resolution of 72 dpi/inch. If you are using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe illustrator to edit the images, use File > Save for Web (Save for Web & Devices for CS3 and after)
1. Use any FTP client software (what is this?) to upload the pre-prepared images to the folder under images > stories > Gallery. If you want to open a new album,
2. After you have successfully upload all the images,go to Content > Article Manager > click the name of the article which you want to insert the photo album. Click once on the editing area where the thumbnail images should located.
3. Type the following string: {gallery}Gallery/subfolder/sub-subfolder{/gallery} where subfolder and sub-subfolder should be replaced by the name of your own folders
4. Click Save or Apply and you should able to see the subnail images appear on the web site
